
W4ORM - Amateur Radio Repeater Club.
Net & Meetings:
The club holds a net on the repeater system once a week and formal club meetings on the first Saturday of the month to keep in touch and exchange club information.
Formal Radio Net: Thursdays @ 7:30 P.M. 1930 HRS EST
Meetings: First Saturday of the Month @ 11:00 A.M. 1100 HRS EST.
The next meeting is Saturday, April 7th, at Lake Seminole Park, will again be in an open area in the Park, assuming good weather, located at 10015 Park Boulevard. That is on the North side of Park Boulevard between Pinellas Park and Seminole. Talk-in on the Wormhole 146.850 or 442.625 repeater. A beautiful place and the hopefully the weather will be nice. We will take advantage of the cooking facilities with an after-the-meeting Social and hotdog luncheon. Listen to the repeater for any last minute meeting changes caused by weather or other unforeseen conditions. We will fall back to the Seminole Chamber of Commerce located at 8400 113th Street if the need arises. That is seven blocks North of Park Blvd on the West side of 113th. Bring your appetite.
Purpose of the Club:
A. To promote the technical advancement of amateur radio.
B. To acquire, organize, establish and maintain facilities for social and emergency communications, both mobile and stationary.
C. To further fellowship among amateurs.
D. To assist and cooperate with authorized agencies in any emergency of local, state or national scope.
Membership:
A. Any licensed radio amateur is eligible for membership.
B. Any person interested in amateur radio is eligible for associate membership.
